Abstract

|
Introduction : It is important to understand the various clinical symptoms of dementia and to accurately understand the diagnosis process. I introduce the clinical features and diagnosis process of dementia.
Text : Dementia is a syndrome caused by 80 different diseases. Here, I described clinical features and diagnostic step for dementia with primary neurodegenerative disease such as Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, and frontal temporal lobe dementia.
Discussion : The clinical characteristics and diagnosis of dementia through history taking, neurological examination,cognitive function evaluation, and imaging studies of dementia patients is fundamental to the design of methods for improving the cognitive ability of patients.
Conclusion : The accurate dementia diagnosis is important not only for the medical personnel responsible for but also for various related areas that are responsible for non-pharmaceutical treatment.
